| Text of QUESTION: | Mr Christian Vanneste draws the attention of Mr Secretary of State to defence, charged with war veterans at the request of many associations about the increase of the majorable ceiling of private incomes. He would like to know the intentions of the Government. | |
| Text of ANSWER: | The increase of the ceiling majorable mutualiste private income made the object of some measures. The article 125 of finance act for 2002 had raised this ceiling 110 - 115 points. The article 114 of finance act for 2003 decided on an exceptional increase of the majorable ceiling, which passed of 115 - 122,5 points. This substantial increase of 7,5 points in 2003 represented an effort mattering on the budget plan. This ceiling was again released by the article 101 of law n on 2006-1666 from December 21st, 2006 of finances for 2007 which carries the ceiling majorable mutualiste private income in 125 points as from January 1st, 2007, that is an increase in 2,5 points. So, considering the value of the point of indication since July 1st, 2007 fixed to 13,38 euro, the sum of the ceiling is currently 1 672,50 euro. To finance the taking care of the participation of the State, 214 MEUR was registered in finance act for 2006, that is a 4,29 % increase in comparison with that of 2005. This allocation is in progress of 3,6 MEUR in the budget for 2007. Any decision of additional increase will be made with a rhythm compatible with budgetary requirements. | |
